Sunday, September 27th 2015, 11:00 a.m.
We’re excited to announce that at September’s Sunday Assembly we will be celebrating our first birthday!!! We’ll be taking a look at where we’ve been, including all the different activities we’ve done over the past year like group outings, volunteer work and a synopsis of all the great speakers we’ve heard. We’ll also open up the floor for discussion on where we’re going, and what else you all would like to do! This includes things like more volunteer opportunities, group outings, activities for kids throughout the month, pastoral care, and other ways to help build our secular community. We’ll be singing funny songs, playing a game to get the endorphins going, and listening to a hilarious reading. The program begins at 11:00 and doors open at 10:30, so arrive early to mingle and get a good seat. As always, it will be followed by a potluck, so bring a dish to share. If you’re not a culinary whiz, something from the deli will be just fine. Plates, napkins, cups, forks and drinks are provided.
For more information (including directions to our meeting place), please RSVP on Meetup or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
